SUNSET EARRINGS

Inspired by beauty of sunset on London hills, these limited edition earrings are handcrafted in gold vermeil on sterling silver. The delicate and intricate leaves are in black rhodium vermeil on sterling silver.

These pairs are the combination of geometric shapes and organic forms while gracefully accompanied by twelve 4mm round Orange Sapphires. Outer diameter of these earrings is 35mm.

GEMSTONE

Orange Sapphire

Sapphire and Ruby are from the corundum family of minerals. Depending on their trace element content, sapphire varieties of the mineral corundum, also so-called “fancy sapphires”,  might be blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, purple. This gemstone is a symbol of sincerity and faithfulness and has been cherished for thousands of years for its colour, durability, hardness and lustre. Sapphire is the birthstone for September.

VERMEIL

Gold Vermeil is a thick layer of 18 karat gold on sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion is what really sets vermeil jewellery apart from simple gold plated pieces. The gold layer needs to be at least 2.5 microns to be considered vermeil.

GUARANTEE

All pieces by Morphic London are hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company assay office in London. The series of five marks are applied to each piece that means our jewellery pieces have been tested independently and guarantees their precious metal fineness and quality.

Our pieces are made to order and this means that we handcraft your unique piece in our London studio. So please allow 4-6 weeks for the delivery. If your order is made sooner than expected, it will be dispatched immediately and you will be notified.
